FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE IS THE MEETING PLACE?
If you are using our transport, the pick-up place is outside the main entrance of Radisson Blu hotel, Tromsø (Fredrik Langes Gate street).
Pick-up times are 8:00 and 12:20 for husky dog sledding and wagon ride day-trips, and 17:00 for the Arctic camping guests.
If you are arriving with your own car, our kennel address is Leirstrandvegen 227.
The times of arriving here are 8:40 and 13:00, and 17:45 for the Arctic camping guests.
WHEN WILL WE BE BACK IN TROMSØ?
For the morning trip guests: you will be back in Tromsø by 12:20
For the afternoon guests: you will be back in Tromsø by 16:30
For Arctic camping guests: 12:20
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within this time frame, you will get a full refund.
HOW DO WE PROCEED IF WE MUST CANCEL DUE TO BAD WEATHER?
We operate in all kinds of weather, all year round. If you must cancel due to whatever reason, our 48-hour policy applies here.
If, however, we have to cancel our trips due to extremely bad weather, you will be notified as soon as the decision was made and you will then get a full refund.


IS THERE ANY SNOW IN...? (CHOOSE YOUR MONTH)
The snow is usually here from November/December until the end of April. However, Tromsø area has a coastal weather which is highly unpredictable and is always fluctuating; and with recent changes in climate, the arctic region is also affected. Therefore, we can never guarantee sufficient snow for sled rides. In case of absence of snow we use our wagons.
IS THERE ANYTHING WE AS GUESTS NEED TO PREPARE FOR?
Make sure to wear warm socks, hat, gloves and layers underneath. We provide you with protective outer clothing, but it’s up to you to keep yourself warm.
DO WE GET FOOD ON OUR TRIP?
We offer refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) for the guests on husky sledding/wagon day trips.
The hot meals are only provided for our Arctic camping guests.
